Two New Tobacco Cessation Classes
Start in July

Research has shown that enrolling in a Tobacco Cessation class is among the most effective methods of quitting a tobacco habit. The Central District Health Department wants to help you quit by offering two Free Tobacco Cessation classes in July.

The first series of classes begins Tuesday July 19th at the Ada County Courthouse, 200 W Front Street, Boise. The class consists of five sessions scheduled around the lunch hour, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Those interested in enrolling need to register by calling 375-5211.

The second series of classes begins Wednesday July 20th at the Library! at Collister, 4724 W State Street, Boise. The five session class will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Call 375-5211 to enroll in the class.

All Tobacco Cessation classes are Free, funded by the Idaho Tobacco Millennium Fund.

Tobacco users can also get Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy by calling 1-800-QUIT-NOW (784-8669) or by logging on to Idaho.quitnet.com. Tobacco users can request a 4 week supply of their choice of nicotine patches, gum or lozenges.
