CDHD Mountain Home Office Offers H1N1 Flu Vaccine

The Central District Health Department (CDHD) Mountain Home office has H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine and will be making it available to Priority Group members by appointment only on Saturday November 21st from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

To make an appointment for the H1N1 flu vaccination call 580-6002. The Mountain Home office is located at 520 E 8th N. Appointments are on a first come-first served basis and there will be no walk-ins for this flu clinic.

Priority groups include:

• Pregnant women
• People who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
• Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
• Persons between the ages of 6 months and 24 years old
• People 25 through 64 years of age with chronic health disorders or compromised immune systems

Current information on the H1N1 flu is posted to the CDHD website daily at www.cdhd.idaho.gov and is provided through the CDHD Flu Hotline at 321-2222 or 1-800-962-2343, which is staffed 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
