Elmore County Commissioner Connie Cruser Named to CDHD Board of Health

The Central District Health Department (CDHD) Board of Health announces the appointment of Elmore County Commissioner Connie Cruser to the Board of Health. Cruser replaces former Elmore County Commissioner Mary Egusquiza, who recently moved to Ada County. Cruser will complete the remainder of Egusquiza’s term, which ends June 30, 2008 and will then begin her own five-year term on the Board of Health. Cruser is a nurse and is very familiar with the Central District Health Department having worked in the CDHD Mountain Home office from 1989 to 1994.

The Central District Health Department provides public health services to Ada, Elmore, Boise and Valley counties. The county commissioners appoint representatives to serve on the policy-making Board of Health.
