Be prepared for an International Travel Appointment
Schedule your appointments well in advance of anticipated travel. Some immunizations are given in a series over a period of time and may take anywhere from two to six months.
- Average appointment time is 60 minutes.
- Bring records of all previous immunizations.
- Bring your detailed travel itinerary in the order of destinations, dates, and length of stay in each location.
- Be prepared to discuss any illnesses you have and medications you are taking.
Consultation Includes:
- Evaluation of immunization and health care needs based on itinerary and personal health history.
- Advice on managing a medical emergency when language is a barrier
- Suggestions for preparing a personal travel medical kit.
- Resources, International Certificates of Vaccination, and other documentation required for travel.
- Laboratory services for any required blood tests.
