Senate Bill 1083
Senate Bill 1083 Statement of Purpose
Much is riding on the Health Districts being able to increase the fees charged to Food Establishments. If the bill does not gain approval in the House and Senate, it will never reach the Governor’s desk. As a result, the Health Districts will have to curtail other programs offered to the public because the state and county funds that subsidize the Food program continue to shrink.
The bill goes before the Health & Welfare Committee of the Senate first, and then the Health & Welfare Committee of the House. Below are the members of those committees and contact information.
