Steven Ryter, MD has been a medical director for Blue Cross of Idaho since November 2006. He is actively involved in a work group looking at ways to improve diabetes care in Idaho. Dr. Ryter was the lead medical director for New Mexico Health Care Takes on Diabetes, a coalition of all the New Mexico health plans, the New Mexico State Health Department, and the University of New Mexico Hospital.
