Cholesterol Screening and
Cardiac Risk Assessment
Everyone age 20 and older should have their cholesterol measured at least once every five years. The higher your LDL level and the more risk factors you have the greater your chances are of developing heart disease or having a heart attack.
Screening includes HDL/LDL levels, Cholesterol/HDL ratio, triglycerides, blood pressure check, and nutrition and exercise guidelines.
Before your screening
You must fast for 12 hours and drink plenty of water to hydrate your veins. Recommend no alcohol for 48 hours before your visit. Clinic also includes a free blood pressure check.
