Internships

Central District Health Department (CDHD) has placement opportunities (unpaid) for students in our programs. The Communicable Disease Control program is responsible for epidemiology, assessment, surveillance, tuberculosis clinic, and refugee programs.

Undergraduate and Graduate Level Students

Applications are considered for Senior and Junior level undergraduate students majoring in a health related field (e.g., public health, health science, nursing, biostatistics, microbiology, etc.) who have an interest in public health. Graduate students in a public health or related program who require an internship as a graduation requirement are also encouraged to apply.
