Project K.O.P.E.G.
The partnership between Project K.O.P.E.G. and Meals On Wheels has been a tremendous success, in its first year generating more than $3,300 as the program collected used cell phones and accessories and turned them in for cash. Now the Meals On Wheels program is collecting used printer and toner ink cartridges, iPods, MP3 players, digital cameras and all associated accessories. And just like before, Project K.O.P.E.G. will either refurbish or recycle these items and provide the Meals On Wheels program with cash.
The following items can be dropped off at the Central District Health Department to benefit the Meals On Wheels program:
- Used cell phones and accessories
- Printer and toner ink cartridges
- iPods, MP3 players
- Digital cameras and all accessories
